A Quality Curriculum and Environment You Can Trust: Meet Grants Pass Adventist School

principal, Richard RasmussenI am honored to show what we can offer your child at Grants Pass Adventist K–10 School. Learn more about our beloved Christian campus, where we educate the whole person and prepare kids for the real world, equipped with a strengthened relationship with Jesus Christ.

Since 1916 we've offered a high-quality, wholistic, Christian education. Because we strive to keep our class sizes small, your child will have much more one-on-one time than they might in a more traditional, larger school setting. Additionally, each teacher is trained and certificated, many with advanced diplomas.

In addition to rigorous academics and small class sizes, loving and caring faculty and staff are dedicated to providing an environment that allows your child to succeed. Our Bible-based curriculum ensures that the highest standards of morality and Christian conduct are observed.

What a blessing to have your child in a loving place where God always comes first!

In His Steps,

Richard Rasmussen,
Principal

Our Mission

“Soaring to new heights in education by preparing the whole person for a life of service to God and the world.”

Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist School offers an edifying curriculum. We aim to inspire students to work efficiently, to work together, and to work with commitment and confidence.

As an institution of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America, Grants Pass School is committed to the Adventist faith. Our school is a family. Our diverse population of parents, teachers, board members and pastors are united to reflect the love of Christ and to provide a nurturing education to all students.

Philosophy

God’s wonderful intent for us on Earth is a "whole person" education. Not only should our minds be strong, we must also strive for physical, emotional and spiritual health, with an educational experience that is balanced, integrated, rigorous and relevant. Adventist education seeks to develop all these areas. Your child will not only be taught and encouraged to achieve scholastically, but to become service-oriented and draw closer to Christ as a result.

In all pursuits we encourage teamwork, effective communication, and above all, a closer walk with our Creator.

CULTURE

At Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Christian School, we endeavor to deliver a traditional curriculum that challenges and nurtures each student, from Kindergarten to 10th grade. All teachers are certified to work with your child and are passionate about education. Smaller classroom sizes guarantee a child to receive individual attention. Students are not a number here!

Aside from Bible class, student spiritual life is upheld in the weekly routine. Students attend a special Chapel once a week, featuring inspiring music by students or faculty, and messages from area pastors. There are also opportunities for students to participate in regular community service. See Campus Life for more details.

A variety of extracurricular programs also enrich student development. From music, art, athletics and drama, there is something for everyone. See Campus Life for more details.

“True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.” (Ellen White, Education, p. 13).
